Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Manager to join their client's team onsite in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. Under the guidance of the Safety Director, the Site Safety Manager will develop, implement, and audit safety policies across various levels, interact with field employees, management, and customers, and cultivate a strong HSE culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Director with oversight and implementation of company safety processes on the jobsite.
- Respond to and oversee injury management and incident investigation/communication for the jobsite.
- Manage safety programs through development, implementation, and management of the Company's safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field personnel and the construction management team.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and maintain a strong safety culture within the service department.
- Work with the customer and site general contractor to ensure compliance with their standards and procedures.
- Provide safety training as needed at a site level.
Position Requirements
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees, customers, and the public.
- Act as the technical safety advisor to Company management and supervision.
- Perform frequent safety inspections and audits at the job site.
- Conduct incident investigations, reports, and develop corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate cultural change to drive Company safety performance.
- Mentor and coach management towards achieving a positive and proactive culture.
- Schedule, facilitate, and track safety training to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Minimum CHST BCSP Certification.
- Minimum OSHA 510.
- Relevant scope and team management experience.
- First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training.
- Emergency procedures training.
- NFPA 70E and LOTO competency and experience.
- Mental Health First Aid Training.
- Must obtain a minimum of OSHA 10-hour within 30 days of starting work at the project site.
Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required
- Minimum 5 years construction or maintenance experience in safety or operations.
- Minimum 5 years of Safety management experience.
- Extensive working knowledge of hazard identification and incident investigation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and office applications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to design and deliver effective training and presentations.
- Ability to conduct research and develop statistical analyses.
- Ability to develop data documentation and retrieval systems.
- Must have a valid driver's license meeting company requirements.
Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details
Pay: $40-$47/hr
Max Pay: $97,000
Min Pay: $83,000
Must have CHST certification.
On-Site in Phoenix, Arizona.
